Gluten Free Bread… Reinvented!

A warm slice of bread with a pat of melted butter is one of life’s greatest pleasures. It is the ultimate comfort food. But if you value your health (and a trim waistline) then most bread is, unfortunately, off the menu…

And that includes most gluten-free varieties, which are often made with high-glycemic ingredients and brown rice flour (which commonly contains unsafe levels of arsenic).

But there is great news for bread lovers!

Wellness Bakeries has reinvented gluten-free bread with our grain free, all-natural and low-glycemic Better Bread™ Mix. In fact, Better Bread has 75 percent fewer carbs than the average commercial bread. And with its chewy center and crispy crust, it tastes just like the real thing.

Active time to prepare a batch is five minutes. No kneading or bread machine required. Use this versatile mix to create delicious, Paleo-approved rolls, buns, crusts, bagels, pretzels and more!

YIELD: Makes two free-form loaves, six sub rolls or 12 dinner rolls.

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently expanding our manufacturing and moving to a larger facility. During this time, we have stopped current production. As a result, inventory is depleted for many items and they cannot be added to your cart.

You Will Need:
1 Better Bread Mix
8 egg whites (or 1 1/2 cups liquid egg whites)
2 Tbsp. organic apple cider vinegar
1 cup boiling water

Preheat oven to 350 F and grease a baking sheet. Bring water to a rapid boil. In a medium bowl, combine the egg whites and apple cider vinegar. Add Better Bread Mix and beat on medium-low speed for 45 seconds to combine. Pour in the boiling water and blend on medium-low speed for 1 minute. The dough will thicken and come together. Divide the dough into balls (16 for dinner rolls, 8 for hoagie rolls, 2 for loaves). Shape the dough balls as desired and place on the greased baking sheet. Bake 45 minutes for dinner rolls, 1 hour for hoagie rolls and 1 hour 15 minutes for loaves.
